Sultan Movie Stills – Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma as a wrestlers

Story

SULTAN starts off with Aakash Oberoi (Amit Sadh), a young entrepreneur, trying to save his failing business of bringing Mixed Martial Arts contests to India. His father (Parikshit Sahni) recommends him to rope in a local fighter and meet Sultan Ali Khan (Salman Khan).

Sultan, a 40 year old former wrestler world champion, in order to save his disastrous business. As Aakash sets out to convince Sultan to enter the wrestling ring again, Sultan’s attitude inspires Aakash to further investigate the story of former champion of wrestler.

The story going into flashback, Sultan who was an aimless man doing cable TV business, finds his passion for wrestling when he falls love with independent wrestler Aarfa (Anushka Sharma), daughter of a famous wresling coach. After winning the wrestling championship, their love turns into marriage. As pride takes over the mind of a talented Sultan, a loss of his loved one reduces his fame to ashes.

While trying to regain his lost love and regard according to Aarfa, he joins Aakash to participate in Mixed Martial Arts and is prepared to go to any lengths to regain everything he lost.

Performance

Salman Khan has worked hard for his physique as a wrestler. From his body language to his Haryanvi accent, from a famous wrestler to a helpless man who is struggling to get his life together, Sultan is a Salman Khan movie all the way!. From his power packed entry to his love for Aarfa, surely we also pray for Sultan.

Anushka Sharma, who has already performed an action side of her NH10 movie, once again she delivered best performance in her career. She has done complete justice to her role of a Haryanavi female wrestler. Her presence as Aarfa even in the background leaves an impact.

Amit Sadh as Aakash Oberoi, a young business man trying to save his failing business, too given a fine performance. Randeep Hooda has impressed the audience with his role as a martial arts expert

Review

Sultan is an entirely different venture by Salman Khan. Offering a decent entertainment value and backed by stellar performances, Sultan will be a box office hit and loved by classes and masses alike.
