Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada is a Tamil romantic action movie written, directed and produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon under his banners Photon Kathaas and Ondraga Entertainment. The film features Silambarasan, Manjima Mohan and Baba Sehgal in lead roles. The film simultaneously made in Telugu as Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo with same cast except lead actor. In Telugu, Simbu replaced by Naga Chaitanya. The film music scored by A. R. Rahman, cinematography handled by Dan Macarthur and edited by Anthony Gonsalves.

Story
Simbu is a college going who falls love with Leela Raman (Manjima Mohan) who is his sister’s friend. Both are planned for the long bike ride. During the journey, they met with a horrible accident. In the same time, Leela’s parents also getting attacked. The real story begins from here.
Overnight, their lives change and things went out of control. What is the reason behind the accident and attacks and how Simbu will protect his girlfriend and her family is forms the rest of the story.
Review
Simbu has played his role very casually. He is not loud and brashy but soft, strong and in control. His subtle sense of humour and lines are not to be missed.
Manjima had good debut in Tamil. Her next door girl look and chemistry with Simbu makes this movie an easy watch.
Except the last 10 minutes, surely the movie will be liked by all type of audience.
Verdict: An another treat from Gautham, Simbu and Rahman combo.
