Nikhila Vimal is an Indian actress, born to Pavithran and Vimaladevi in Kannur, Kerala. She has completed B.Sc Botany in Sir Syed College, Taliparamba. She also learned Bharata Natyam, Kuchipudi, Kerala Natanam and monoact.

Nikhila made her acting debut in film industry with Sathyan Anthikad’s Malayala movie Bhagyadevatha (2009) where she played Jayaram’s sister in the film. She made her debut as a lead role in Sreebala K Menon’s Love 24×7, opposite to actor Dileep.

Nikhila Vimal’s first Tamil movie is debutant director S. P. Mohan’s Panjumittai, opposite to Ma Ka Pa Anand but Vasantha Mani’s Vetrivel (2016) released as first. In this movie, she paired with M. Sasikumar in the role of Latha one among three heroines. Other two heroines are Miya George and Varsha Bollamma.
