Aari is a Tamil actor, born on February 12, 1985 in Palani, Tamil nadu. Before entering into film industry, he was worked as a theatre artist and fitness trainer for actors. He is one of the actor, who was given unconditional support for 2017 pro-jallikattu protest from day one.
Aari started his film carrier in 2005 with T. V. Chandran’s Aadum Koothu, alongside Cheran and Navya Nair. In 2010, he has appeared in Thamira’s Rettaisuzhi, cast with Bharathiraja, K. Balachandar and Anjali.
Aari made his debut as a lead role in 2012 movie Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey alongwith Miss South India 2010 Shubha Phutela. He has a breakthrough in N. Krishna’s 2012 crime thriller Nedunchaalai, which he paired with Sshivada. Also, Aari played the pivotal role in Ashwin Saravanan’s 2015 horror movie Maya, opposite to Nayanthara.
Currently, he is working in N. Krishna’s comedy movie Maane Thaene Paeye, paired with Subhasree Ganguly, Chennai 600028 co-writer Sasidharan’s Kadai Enn 6 with Sanya Sheikh, Mohamad Issack’s Nagesh Thiraiyarangam, cast with Ashna Zaveri and VZ Durai’s untitled upcoming movie.
